:: Dia daoibh! | Hello! ::

Is mise Éimí Mhic an Ridire, bean Éireannach 28 bliain d’aois atá ina cónaí in Oirthuaisceart na hAlban. Tá mo phaisean maidir le heispéiris dhigiteacha atá inrochtana go fírinneach a chruthú bunaithe ar mo dhearcadh féin mar úsáideoir cathaoireacha rotaí neurodíorthach le Siondróm Ehlers Danlos agus Neamhord Néareolaíoch Feidhmiúil.

I’m Éimí Mhic an Ridire, a 28-year-old Irish woman living in the North East of Scotland. My passion for creating truly accessible digital experiences is grounded in my own perspective as a neurodivergent wheelchair user with hypermobile Ehlers–Danlos Syndrome and Functional Neurological Disorder.

Rinne mé staidéar roimhe seo ar Ríomhaireacht agus TF san Ollscoil Oscailte, ach tá staidéar á dhéanamh agam faoi láthair ar an Léann Éireannach in Ollscoil na Gaillimhe. Táim fós ag foghlaim na Gaeilge!

I previously studied Computing & IT at the Open University, and I’m currently studying Irish Studies at the University of Galway. I’m still learning the Irish language!

Nuair nach bhfuilim ag obair ar theicneolaíocht nua-aimseartha, is bréa liom bheith ag plé le mo bhailiúchán de ríomhairí Apple ré PowerPC — G3 iMac, G3 iBook, G4 iBook, ag rith OS 9.2, 10.0 agus 10.4.

When I’m not working on modern tech, I love tinkering with my collection of PowerPC-era Apple machines — G3 iMac, G3 iBook, G4 iBook, running Mac OS 9.2, 10.0 and 10.4.
